O gênero notícia nas coleções didáticas indicadas pelo Programa Nacional do Livro Didático para a Educação de Jovens e Adultos

Resumo: | Though it has been object of countless critics, the schoolbook is still being considered a fundamental instrument in the educational process. However, in opposition to what is observed in the Elementary and Secondary School classes, the circulation of didactic books from big publishers on the Young's and Adults' Education became common from 2011 on, when the National Schoolbook Program started to contemplate it. Due to the amplification of this books distribution poli tics, the official pedagogic proposals that settle the adoption of the text as unit and the speech genres as teaching object, the specificities of the target audience served by the Young's and Adults' Education and the new guidelines of these courses which recognize that all the school curriculum must be based in an interdisciplinary proposal, we tried to verify what is the way that the two didactic collection indicated by National Schoolbook Program and Young's and Adults' Education to the second segment of the Elementary School propose the study of the news item, a speech genre, that has an enormous social relevance. As the official documents recognize that the interdisciplinarity is an axis which articulate the teaching - learning process and the referred collections are multidisciplinaries, they concentrate the contents of all the subjects from each grade in one volume, in this research, of interpretative - qualitative nature, we opted to verify in which manner the speech genre studied is tackled not only in the curricular component of Portuguese Language, but also in all the others, because the text and, consequently, the speech genres, do not constitute an exclusive area of Portuguese Language. In order to form our theoretical basis, we were based on the official documents that regulate the teaching in Brazil, in papers that present the historic of Young's and Adults' Education in our country, in authors that tackle the production of didactic material for this modality of teaching, in studies about the news item as a speech genre at the journalistic sphere and in the Bakhtin postulate about the speech genres. The analyses developed showed that, in Portuguese Language, one of the collections permits the formation of a critic reader, although none of them the study of the news item favors the development of writing of texts totally coherent with the official pedagogic proposals to the Young's and Adults' Education. The production and circulation conditions of the news item are presented in few moments in both collections. The genres functions in the other curricular components, eventually, are invariable: in some moments it is tackled as a simple starting point to discuss some pertinent subject, in others, it works as an element of confirmation of important historical facts. |

Entretanto, ao contrário do que se verifica nas turmas de ensino Fundamental e Médio regulares, a circulação de obras didáticas de grandes editoras na Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) só passou a ser comum a partir do ano de 2011, quando o Programa Nacional do Livro Didático (PNLD) começou a contemplá-la. Diante da ampliação dessa política de distribuição de obras didáticas, das propostas pedagógicas oficiais que regulamentam a adoção do texto como unidade e dos gêneros do discurso como objeto de ensino, das especificidades do público atendido pela EJA e das novas diretrizes norteadoras desses cursos, as quais preconizam que todo o currículo escolar fundamente-se em uma proposta interdisciplinar, procuramos verificar de que maneira as duas coleções didáticas indicadas pelo PNLD EJA para o segundo segmento do Ensino Fundamental propõem o estudo do gênero notícia, o qual possui grande relevância social. Como os documentos oficiais preconizam que a interdisciplinaridade seja um eixo articulador do processo ensino-aprendizagem e as referidas coleções são multidisciplinares, isto é, concentram os conteúdos de todas as disciplinas de cada série em um único volume, nesta pesquisa, de natureza qualitativo-interpretativa, optamos por verificar de que maneira o gênero em questão é abordado não só no componente curricular de Língua Portuguesa (LP), mas também em todos os demais, visto que o texto e, consequentemente, os gêneros, não constituem uma exclusividade da área de LP. Para a constituição de nosso arcabouço teórico, baseamo-nos nos documentos oficiais que regulamentam o ensino no Brasil, em trabalhos que apresentam o histórico da EJA em nosso país, em autores que abordam a produção de material didático para essa modalidade de ensino, em estudos sobre o gênero notícia na esfera jornalística e nos postulados de Bakhtin sobre os gêneros do discurso. As análises desenvolvidas demonstraram que, em LP, uma das coleções permite a formação de um leitor crítico, mas em nenhuma delas o estudo da notícia favorece o desenvolvimento de práticas de produção de textos totalmente coerentes com as propostas pedagógicas oficiais para a EJA. As condições de produção e circulação da notícia, por sua vez, são resgatadas em poucos momentos em ambas as coleções.
