PRACTICE PEDAGÓGICAS INVOLVING THE FOOD IN SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT: PRESENTATION OF A PROPOSAL

Resumo: | The insertion of the food in teaching practices in basic education is an option for effective actions for health promotion in schools, enabling the training of individuals aware and with healthy living habits. This paper is to present a proposal for nutrition education for the initial series of basic education, so combined with the curriculum content criteria proposed by National Curriculum. This proposal is based on some theoretical principles: the affirmation of good eating habits occurs in childhood and is influenced by the school environment, which justifies the use of food as an element of learning, promoting children's familiarity with food and encouraging consumption and the large amount of curricular content and the variety of educational commitments during the school year hamper the conduct of activities involving food beyond the classroom; the construction of knowledge occurs in the interaction of the subjects, so dynamic and fun, so it is suggested the implementation of practices educational and leisure group, and also previously planned, with clear goals and methods; finally, it was considered that the figure of teacher has key role in the learning process, as mediator of knowledge, which boosted its inclusion as an actor of the main activities of nutrition education, under the guidance of nutritionist. |

O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar uma proposta de educação nutricional para as séries iniciais do ensino fundamental, de forma conjugada com os conteúdos curriculares propostos pelos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacional. Essa proposta baseia-se em alguns princípios teóricos: a afirmação de bons hábitos alimentares ocorre na infância e é influenciado pelo ambiente escolar, o que justifica a utilização do alimento como elemento da aprendizagem, promovendo a familiarização da criança com os alimentos e incentivando o consumo; a grande quantidade de conteúdos curriculares e a variedade de compromissos pedagógicos durante ano letivo dificultam a realização de atividades extraclasse que envolvam alimentação; a construção do conhecimento ocorre na interação dos sujeitos, de forma dinâmica e lúdica, portanto, sugere-se a execução de práticas pedagógicas lúdicas e coletivas, e também previamente planejadas, com objetivos e métodos claros; por fim, considerou-se que a figura do professor tem papel fundamental no processo de aprendizagem, como mediador do conhecimento, o que favoreceu a sua inserção como ator principal das atividades de educação nutricional, sob a orientação do nutricionista.
