Indigenous school education and special education assistance in the educational documents

Resumo: | Research and studies that discuss the relations between indigenous scholar education and specialized educational assistance are recent. This paper proposes to study the indigenous school education, the special education assistance, and outlines policy emanating from international agencies. From a range of documents and legislation, we propose to study the Referencial Curricular Nacional para as Escolas Indígenas, an important document in the area of indigenous school education. We search establish our framework on historical materialism, so we start from the analysis of these documents linking them to the explanations of the capitalist society, the ideological formulations of liberalism and neoliberal policy proposals that are the basis for policy development for indigenous school education and special education assistance. We conclude that these documents do not establish a relationship between indigenous school education and special education assistance, and despite the widespread existing relevant legislation, policies and actions lack specific link between the proposals for these populations. |

São recentes as pesquisas e os estudos que tratam das relações entre Educação Escolar Indígena (EEI) e Atendimento Educacional Especializado (AEE). Nesse sentido, este artigo se propõe a discutir tais relações, a partir da análise do Referencial Curricular Nacional para as Escolas Indígenas (RCNEI), documento formativo que contém orientações e subsídios para a área da educação escolar indígena. Buscamos estabelecer nossa matriz teórica no materialismo histórico, que pressupõe a análise dos documentos, articulando-os à compreensão da sociedade capitalista e suas formulações ideológicas que dão base para a elaboração das políticas para educação escolar indígena e para o atendimento educacional especializado. Concluímos que esses documentos não estabelecem uma relação entre educação escolar indígena e atendimento educacional especializado e que, apesar da generalização existente na legislação pertinente, faltam políticas e ações específicas para articulação entre as propostas para essas populações.
