A School in Documents: reflections on instituting marks and instituted functionalities.

Resumo: | This article takes as reference the only state school located in the district of Igaraí, municipality of Mococa, approximately 260 kilometers far from São Paulo, capital of the state, and is grounded on an attempt to apprehend some elements with significant potential, which are contingents of records or igniters of practices and can lead to an understanding of the school’s instituting functionality. Following the same way, this study also aspires to make some considerations on any marks of imagery that surrounds said institution. For such a purpose, an analysis of the school’s internal documents was carried out based on reflections by Castoriadis (1995), especially concerning his proposition about the fact that institutions stand as symbolic networks that combine functional and imaginary components. The analyses lead to the perception of possible diachronic functionalities apparently founded on a superficial pragmatism. |

Este artigo toma como referência a única escola estadual localizada no distrito de Igaraí, município de Mococa, a aproximadamente260 quilômetros de São Paulo, capital do Estado, e firma-se na tentativa de apreensão de alguns elementos com potencial significante, contingentes de registros ou deflagrados(res) de práticas e possíveis indicativos à compreensão da funcionalidade instituinte da escola. cc. Para tanto, faz-se a análise de documentos internos da escola, pautando-se em reflexões de Castoriadis (1995), sobretudo em relação à sua proposição sobre o fato de as instituições manterem-se como redes simbólicas, em que se combinam componentes funcionais e imaginários.
