Resumo: | This paper retrieves the discourses of those who lived in slavery in the 16th, 17th and beginning of the 18th centuries and of those who talked about it especially in 19th century Brazil. It problematizes the analysis on slavery, since slavery is sometimes seen either as an instrument to social wealth or as a mistake which warrants poverty and injustice. While suggesting studies that would answer such questions as a) what are the reasons for such different analyses, or b) which are the theoretical basic issues of ethical analysis that would not take into consideration human behavior embodied in history, its great importance is enhanced so that educators would deepen their analyses on the quality and characteristics of discourses that are being consumed at present. |

Slavery: reflection and educationEscravidão & reflexão & educação (Séc. It problematizes the analysis on slavery, since slavery is sometimes seen either as an instrument to social wealth or as a mistake which warrants poverty and injustice. Universidade Estadual De Maringá2008-07-04info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttp://www.periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/ActaSciHumanSocSci/article/view/422110.4025/actascihumansoc.v20i0.4221Acta Scientiarum.
