Resumo: This article speculates about the relationship between biological factors and social interactions in the development of moral sense, suggesting that the study of ethical judgement should include the neurological processes and the other parts of the body that produce this phenomenon and bear the consequences. Starting with this simultaneously social and natural viewpoint, it is agreed that the heuristic value of this reflection resides specially in the suggestion of conceptual and linguistic instruments to bridge the gap that separates sciences and humanities, when dealing with this problem in the metascientific milieu of life sciences.
