Resumo: This study was carried out to evaluate full-fat soybean meal (FFSM) in diets for Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus L.) juveniles. Sixty-four fingerlings (1.59 ± 0.06g) were distributed in a randomized block design with four treatments (0.0; 7.0; 14.0 and 22.0% of FFSM inclusion) replacing 0.0; 19..3; 41.0 and 60.0% of protein from soybean meal (SM), respectively, and four replicates. The ration, isoproteic (± 27.0% of crude protein) and isocaloric (± 3,400kcal of digestible energy/kg) were fed for a period of 48 days. There was no effect of FFSM inclusion levels on survival rate. The feed intake increased linearly with the FFSM inclusion levels. A quadratic effect of FFSM inclusion levels on weight gain, feed/gain ratio, protein efficiency ratio and cost per kilogram gain was observed. The best level of FFSM inclusion was the 17.0%, or 46.0% of SM protein replaced by FFSM protein.

Foram utilizados 64 alevinos com 1,59 ± 0,06g distribuídos em um delineamento em blocos ao acaso com 4 tratamentos (0,0; 7,0; 14,0 e 22,0% de inclusão de FSI) substituindo, respectivamente, 0,0; 19,3; 41,0 e 60% da proteína do farelo de soja (FS) e 4 repetições. As rações isoprotéicas (± 27% de proteína bruta) e isocalóricas (± 3.400kcal de energia digestível/kg), foram fornecidas durante 48 dias. Não foi observado efeito da inclusão de FSI sobre a taxa de sobrevivência. O consumo aumentou linearmente com o aumento nos níveis de inclusão de FSI. Foi observado efeito quadrático dos níveis de inclusão de FSI sobre ganho de peso, conversão alimentar e taxa de eficiência protéica.
