Resumo: In this study we analyzed the most commonly divulged theories about cooperative games in Brazil contrasting with the practice of the cooperative games workshops developed at the Centro Social Marista Ir. Beno Tomasoni and from that, we pointed which principles are considered essential for the educational act with cooperative games. This is a qualitative research and uses the content analysis as method. We understand from this study, that there is a generalization regarding the theories about cooperative games proposed in Brazil, and this hegemonic conception presents itself contradictory and confuse in its theoretical basis. On the other hand, we considered that the cooperative games must have its practice guided and complemented by the principles of participation, respect, reality in movement, praxis, persistence in the search for the principles and political commitment that desires social transformation.

Department of Physical Education - State University of Maringá (UEM), Maringá-PR, Brazil2009-07-01info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionMétodo: Análise de Conteúdoapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/article/view/4747Journal of Physical Education; Vol 20 No 2 (2009); 291-303Journal of Physical Education; Vol. 20 Núm. 2 (2009); 291-303Journal of Physical Education; v. 20 n. 2 (2009); 291-3032448-2455reponame:Journal of Physical Education (Maringá)instname:Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM)instacron:UEMporhttps://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/article/view/4747/4439Natali, Paula MarcalMüller, Verônica Reginainfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2023-01-10T15:37:37Zoai:periodicos.uem.br/ojs:article/4747Revistahttp://periodicos.uem.br/ojs/index.php/RevEducFis/indexPUBhttps://old.scielo.br/oai/scielo-oai.php||revdef@uem.br2448-24552448-2455opendoar:2023-01-10T15:37:37Journal of Physical Education (Maringá) - Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM)false
