Resumo: The experience developed in the Special/diurne Education course at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), explores Drama as a methodological approach for the teaching of theatre to children with and without disabilities. The objectives were: to draw parallels between Art and Education and to reflect Drama as a methodology for the teaching of theater in Special Education, adapting these practices so that everyone can participate. The research starts from the analysis of five Drama workshops held with children from two schools located in Santa Maria - RS. These practices were developed through the PIBID (Institutional Program of Scholarships for Initiation to Teaching) and had as academic collaborators of the Special Education course of UFSM. The theoretical reference brings authors such as Pereira (2015) and Cabral (2006), who approach different conventions of Drama, in addition to Berselli (2017) who deals with diversity and deficiencies from theatrical practices. It is expected, with the reflection on practices, to broaden the vision of teachers, both from the academy and schools, as well as academics from the Special Education course, about a differentiated practice to teach/do theater for/with and without children with disabilities, working with curricular contents or even exploring themes, such as inclusion, diversity, disability, coexistence and empathy, from theatrical practices.

Os objetivos foram: traçar paralelos entre Arte e Educação e refletir o Drama como metodologia para o ensino do teatro na Educação Especial, adaptando essas práticas, a fim de que todos possam participar. A pesquisa parte da análise de cinco oficinas de Drama realizadas com crianças de duas escolas localizadas em Santa Maria - RS. Essas práticas foram desenvolvidas por meio do Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID) e tiveram como colaboradores acadêmicos do curso de Educação Especial da UFSM. O referencial teórico traz autores como Pereira (2015) e Cabral (2006), que abordam diferentes convenções do Drama, além de Berselli (2017) que trata do tema diversidade e deficiências a partir de práticas teatrais.
