The artistic sense in discourse and the evocation of argumentative chains

Resumo: This article aims to examine the inscription of art in language based on the principles of Theory of Argumentation within Language and the theoretical-methodological framework of Semantic Blocks Theory. To do so, it seeks to explain how doxical, paradoxical and contextual argumentative aspects and chains organize the semantic-argumentative construction of artistic discourses. Through the analysis of a poem and a chronicle, it is shown that artistic expression tends to suggest deeper readings of reality, as it subverts systemic patterns: it attenuates the strangeness caused by a paradox and suggests that contextual and paradoxical meanings integrate ordinary usage.

Para tanto, procura-se explicar como encadeamentos e aspectos argumentativos doxais, paradoxais e contextuais organizam a construção semântico-argumentativa de discursos artísticos.
