The effects of the transverse corpus on the functioning of Grindr

Resumo: In the current conditions of production, the internet constitutes itself as a form of production of discursiveness in our social formation, with emphasis on relationship applications. From this, we aim, based on the Pecheuxtian Discourse Analysis, to analyze the discursive functioning of the Grindr screens, in order to understand what we call the transverse corpus. For the analyses, we cut discursive sequences from Grindr's initial screens and the user-subject's profile formulation, showing that the latter works as a transverse corpus, which supports, crosses and controls the user-subject's movements in the application.

A partir disso, objetivamos, com base na Análise de Discurso pecheuxtiana, analisar o funcionamento discursivo das telas do Grindr, de modo a compreender o que designamos de corpus transverso.
