Resumo: The present work analyzes a meme published on November 29, 2022, on the UOL website, about the trip of federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) to the World Cup in Qatar, saying that his trip during the World Cup Mundo took place to take videos, in English, inside pen drives, "explaining the situation in Brazil to the international community". This event circulated numerous memes on the internet, generating criticism from both opponents and supporters. Taking the meme as discursive materiality, through Pecheuxtian Materialist Discourse Analysis, this article analyzes the effects of meanings produced in the circulation of this meme and the way in which discursive memory works from it, which brings already-said and constitutive functionings in exteriority by historicity, inscribed in a network of memories, in that always constitutive relationship between paraphrase and polysemy.

Tal acontecimento fez circular na internet inúmeros memes, gerando críticas tanto de opositores, quanto de apoiadores dele.
