Resumo: This work was developed from the perception of which the act of naming lesbianities represents existence, to the detriment of a historical silencing constructed in order to neglect lesbians and their practices as strategy of marginalization and obscuration. Taking the chapbook as literary text representative of the lesbianities, we selected 10 strings in a universe of approximately 42 thousand. We used two criteria for the selection of the strings: the first one, the appointment attributed to lesbian women, as long as they were problematized; the second, the allusion to any term or expression that made them, even if it did not lead them. The research was organized in three chapters, In the first one, titled, Dyke is “Revolution", we defend productivity of terms and / or expressions present in the Chica Bananinha strings, the bearded butch from Paraíba (MACHADO, 1984), which was produced by a traditional writer that comes from a conservative social place. In the second, entitled, "It is not about a label, it is about identity", we problematized in disagreement of the queers studies, proposing an analysis through the positivation of the identity construction of the lesbians and their visibility, in which we analyze four strings, The fight of a gay with a woman male (2009) of Manoel Monteiro da Silva (Manoel Monteiro); The homosexual (2010), by Raimundo Nonato da Silva; The fight of the dragqueen Paulete da Lapa with Maria Sapatão(butch) (2011); authored by Isael de Carvalho; The confusion of the butch with the patrol of the block (2008), Jair Moraes. In the third, the strings of militancy: political struggle, hygiene and rupture of an ethos, we theoretically discussed the process of sanitation, political struggle and the ethos of happiness presented by militant strings. In this chapter, we analyzed the strings: Chica likes is woman (2013), by Jarid Arraes; Homosexuality History and Struggle (2009), by Fernando Antônio Soares dos Santos, pseudonym Nando Poeta from Rio Grande do Norte, and Varneci Nascimento, and, finally, Lesbecause (2008), Maria, Helena (2008) and Gay Pride Day 2009), by Salete Maria da Silva. As for the theoretical basis, among the concepts and authors appropriated here, we have disposed Foucault (1988) and Platão notes (2001), in order to problematized the act of naming, its historicity and representation; Butler (2000) and Louro (2008), for the discussion of queers studies, their concept, the strategies of these studies, and the meanings of the queer word. We used the concept of lesbianities after a historiographic operation from Mott (1987), Viñuales (2002), Swain (2004), Hall (1997) for the discussion of identity, among others. Thus, this thesis argues that the naming, per si (itself), is the recognition of existence, a certificate of visibility. We understand that naming has contributed much more to a productive, political and identity visibility of lesbians not only by taking them out of limbo, but also by transforming them into historical subjects and often protagonists of their affections, bodies, loves, practices of sexuality, giving them the possibility of choosing and appropriating or not the identifications.

Submitted by Ricardo Carrasco (ricardogc84@uepb.edu.br) on 2018-03-23T14:08:18Z No. of bitstreams: 1 PDF - Rozeane Porto Diniz.pdf: 72936753 bytes, checksum: 7067ddbecd711e2fdc4bd734660ae184 (MD5)Approved for entry into archive by Luciana Medeiros (luciana@uepb.edu.br) on 2018-03-26T13:02:39Z (GMT) No. of bitstreams: 1 PDF - Rozeane Porto Diniz.pdf: 72936753 bytes, checksum: 7067ddbecd711e2fdc4bd734660ae184 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2018-03-26T13:02:39Z (GMT).
