Teacher education from an anti-racist education perspective as a social practice

Resumo: | Aiming to discuss the processes of teacher education so that it is possible to develop an Anti-Racist Education, this paper uses bibliographical research, following the theoretical support of Candau and Lelis (1999), Deus (2020), Gomes (2010, 2017), Munanga (2020) e Pimenta (2007), among others. It is acknowledged that, in order to understand Anti-Racist Education, it is necessary to observe the Black Movement performance as a systematizer and propagator of knowledge arising from black people experiences. In order to this education fulfill its function of social practice, it is necessary to reflect on the teacher education process and on how theories and practices are related in training and are effective in educational practices. It is understood that this relationship needs to be within a dialogical unit as a characteristic observed in the very conformation of the Black Movement. Keywords: Anti-racist Education. Social practice.Con el objetivo de discutir los procesos de formación docente para que sea posible desarrollar una Educación Antirracista, el presente artículo hace uso de la investigación bibliográfica, teniendo como soporte teórico a Candau y Lelis (1999), Deus (2020), Gomes (2010, 2017), Munanga (2020) y Pimenta (2007), entre otros(as). Se comprende que, para entender la Educación Antirracista, es necesario observar la actuación del Movimiento Negro como sistematizador y propagador de saberes oriundos de las vivencias de los pueblos negros. Para que esta educación cumpla con su función de práctica social, es necesario reflexionar sobre el proceso de formación docente y sobre cómo las teorías y las prácticas se relacionan en las formaciones y son efectivas en las prácticas educativas. Se entiende que esta relación necesita suceder dentro de una unidad dialógica, como característica observada en la propia conformación del Movimiento Negro. Palabras clave: Educación Antirracista. Compreende-se que, para entender a Educação Antirracista, é necessário observar a atuação do Movimento Negro como sistematizador e propagador dos saberes oriundos das vivências dos povos negros. Para que essa educação cumpra sua função de prática social, é preciso refletir sobre o processo de formação docente e acerca de como as teorias e as práticas se relacionam nas formações e se efetivam nas práticas educativas. Entende-se que essa relação precisa ocorrer dentro de uma unidade dialógica, como uma característica observada na própria conformação do Movimento Negro. Palavras-chave: Educação Antirracista.
