Resumo: This work seeks to analyze the panorama of scientific productions in the stricto sensu graduate programs, regarding professional education in prison spaces. Focusing on professional education under the scope of resocialization, we proceeded to the survey of theses and dissertations on the subject, using as source the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações – BDTD). We found that the issue of professional education in the prison system has been little explored, especially in doctoral courses. Thus, there is still much to be researched, especially considering the complexity of the issue, the vertiginous increase of incarcerations within the country in the last two decades and the emancipatory potential that the professional education presents for people in a situation of restriction of freedom.   Keywords: State of knowledge. Enfocando la enseñanza profesional bajo el prisma de la resocialización, procedemos al levantamiento de tesis y de disertaciones sobre el tema, utilizando como fuente la Biblioteca Digital Brasileña de Tesis y Disertaciones (BDTD). Constatamos que la temática de la educación profesional en el sistema carcelario fue poco explorada, principalmente en cursos de Doctorado. De esta manera, aún hay mucho a ser investigado, especialmente si se considera la complejidad de la cuestión, el aumento vertiginoso del encarcelamiento vivido por el país en las últimas dos décadas y el potencial emancipador que la enseñanza profesional presenta para las personas en situación de restricción de libertad.   Palabra clave: Estado del Conocimiento. Educación para presos.Este trabalho busca analisar o panorama das produções científicas nos programas de Pós-Graduação stricto sensu, no que diz respeito à Educação Profissional no espaço prisional. Focalizando o ensino profissionalizante sob o prisma da ressocialização, procedemos a levantamento de teses e de dissertações sobre o tema, utilizando como fonte a Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD). Constatamos que a temática da Educação Profissional no sistema penitenciário foi pouco explorada, principalmente em cursos de Doutorado. Desta feita, ainda há muito a ser pesquisado, notadamente se considerada a complexidade da questão, o aumento vertiginoso do encarceramento vivenciado pelo país nas duas últimas décadas e o potencial emancipador que o ensino profissionalizante apresenta para as pessoas em situação de restrição de liberdade.   Palavras-chave: Estado do conhecimento.
