“Alfaletrar” Project in the Municipal education system in Lagoa Santa – MG: central issues

Resumo: | This paper presents a summary and results of the “Alfaletrar” Project, which has been developed in the Municipal Education System in Lagoa Santa – Minas Gerais State since 2007. This project is based on the following principles: continuity, integration, systematization and follow-up. To develop the project, Progression Targets (Portuguese) were defined, from the Pre-school to the 5th year of elementary school, as well as diagnosis strategies, intervention and teachers’ professional development. The results revealed significant advances in the learners’ learning process, as well as in the Ideb (Brazilian Education Quality Index) indices and external evaluations. Para el desarrollo del proyecto se definieron las Metas en Progresión (Lengua Portuguesa), de la Educación Infantil al 5º año de la Enseñanza Fundamental, estrategias de diagnóstico, intervención y desarrollo profesional de los profesores. Los resultados indican avances significativos en el aprendizaje de los alumnos, así como en los índices de Ideb (Índice de Desarrollo de la Educación Básica) y en las evaluaciones externas. O projeto baseia-se nos seguintes princípios: continuidade, integração, sistematização e acompanhamento. Para o desenvolvimento do projeto foram definidas as Metas em Progressão (Língua Portuguesa), da Educação Infantil ao 5º ano do Ensino Fundamental, estratégias de diagnóstico, intervenção e desenvolvimento profissional dos professores.
