Non-partisan school: analysis of a conservative network in education

Resumo: | The aim of this article is to present and analyze the Non-Partisan School movement, which articulates social actors around a conservative agenda for education in Brazil. Based on an analysis of political governance networks, supported by Ball studies, using a qualitative network methodology and the use of the Gephi application, the text analyzes some relevant social actors to this conservative initiative. The research shows that the Non-Partisan School, although spreading it out as an initiative against ideological indoctrination, in fact this is the result of a great combination of ideological, conservative and partisan interests. As findings of the research, the article shows that the Non-Partisan School is more of a movement around a struggle for ideological hegemony in the educational field. Keywords: Non-partisan School. Basado en un análisis de redes políticas de gobernanza, apoyado en estudios de Ball, con la utilización de una metodología cualitativa de redes y uso de la aplicación Gephi, el texto analiza algunos actores sociales importantes para apoyar esta iniciativa conservadora. La investigación demuestra que el Escuela sin Partido, aunque divulgue ser una iniciativa contra el adoctrinamiento ideológico, es el resultado de una gran combinación de intereses ideológicos, conservadores y partidistas. Como resultado de la investigación, el artículo muestra que el Escuela sin Partido es un movimiento más en torno a la lucha por la hegemonía ideológica en el campo educativo. A partir de uma análise de redes políticas de governança, apoiada em estudos de Ball, com a utilização de uma metodologia qualitativa de redes e uso do aplicativo Gephi, o texto analisa alguns atores sociais importantes para a sustentação dessa iniciativa conservadora. A pesquisa demonstra que o Escola sem Partido, embora divulgue ser uma iniciativa contra a doutrinação ideológica, é resultado de uma grande combinação de interesses ideológicos, conservadores e partidários. Como resultado da pesquisa, o artigo mostra que o Escola sem Partido é mais um movimento em torno de uma luta por hegemonia ideológica no campo educacional. Palavras-chave: Escola sem Partido.
