Quarantine lessons: limits and possibilities of teaching performance in times of social isolation

Resumo: | Social isolation, recently adopted as a result of COVID-19 pandemic, leads educational institutions, both public and private, to a reorganization regarding their practices, and consequently raises a discussion about the role of Education in society nowadays. In this scenario, it is relevant to analyze the determinations and conducts adopted in Brazil in the context of this crisis, as well as the assumptions that support such directions. Thus, based on teachers’ narratives, this paper discusses two aspects of this issue. Initially, it analyzes the political field of school organization today. Then, it discusses the practices resulting from such guidelines, highlighting their consequences and also the possibilities, even if rudimentary and limited, of transgression, resistance and reinvention of the school in this moment and situation that we are currently living collectively. En este escenario, se vuelve relevante el análisis de las determinaciones y de las conducciones adoptadas en Brasil en el contexto de crisis, así como las suposiciones que respaldan tales direccionamientos. Por lo tanto, este artículo discute, a partir de las narrativas hechas por maestras, dos aspectos de este tema. Inicialmente, se realiza un análisis del contexto político de la organización escolar en la actualidad. en seguida, se discuten las prácticas resultantes de tales orientaciones, evidenciando sus consecuencias y, también, las posibilidades, aunque rudimentarias y limitadas, de transgresión, de resistencia y de reinvención de la escuela a partir del momento y situación en que se vive colectivamente. Aislamiento social.O isolamento social, recentemente adotado em decorrência da pandemia de COVID-19, leva as instituições de ensino, públicas e privadas, a uma reorganização em relação às suas práticas e, consequentemente, suscita o debate acerca do papel da Educação na sociedade atual. Nesse cenário, torna-se relevante a análise das determinações e das conduções adotadas no Brasil no contexto de crise, bem como os pressupostos que sustentam tais direcionamentos. Assim sendo, este artigo discute, a partir das narrativas tecidas por professoras, dois aspectos dessa questão. Inicialmente, faz-se uma análise do contexto político da organização escolar na atualidade. Em seguida, discutem-se as práticas decorrentes de tais orientações, evidenciando suas consequências e, também, as possibilidades, mesmo que rudimentares e limitadas, de transgressão, de resistência e de reinvenção da escola a partir do momento e situação que se vive coletivamente.
