Is Education in Distance learning possible? Some reflections from Levinas’s ethics of responsibility and Gur-Ze’ev’s transcendental Eros

Resumo: The purpose of this reflection was to investigate whether a “language of education” is possible in the Distance learning modalities, more specifically if, in Distance learning, it is possible to create conditions for the responsible response to the call of the Other, for ethical dialog, and if possibilities for the subject to be constituted as a being beyond what was modeled to be, for transcendence are offered. Based on a bibliographic research, especially on Levinas and Gur-Ze’ev’s works, it was sought to develop a “language of education” that does not limit the educational relationship to the “language of learning”. It was concluded that Distance learning does not offer conditions for  transcendental Eros, for the encounter of the ethical self with the Other, and it also creates barriers that prevent this encounter and imprison the “subject” in his/her network of pleasures and self-satisfaction. Transcendental Eros.El objetivo de esta reflexión fue investigar si es posible un “lenguaje de la educación” en las modalidades de Educación a Distancia, más específicamente si, en Educación a Distancia, es posible crear las condiciones para la respuesta responsable al llamado del Otro, para el diálogo ético, y si ofrece posibilidades para que el sujeto se constituya como un ser más allá de lo que fue modelado para ser, para la trascendencia. A partir de investigación bibliográfica, especialmente de las obras de Levinas y Gur-Ze’ev, se buscó elaborar un “lenguaje de la educación” que no limite la relación educativa al “lenguaje del aprendizaje”. Se concluye que la Educación a Distancia no ofrece condiciones para la trascendencia erótica, para el encuentro del Yo-ético con Otro, ya que crea barreras que impiden este encuentro y aprisionan al “sujeto” en su red de placeres y autosatisfacciones. Eros trascendental.O objetivo desta reflexão foi investigar se é possível uma “linguagem da educação” nas modalidades de Educação a Distância, mais especificamente se, em Educação a Distância, é possível criar as condições para a resposta responsável ao chamado do Outro, para o diálogo ético, e se oferece possibilidades para que o sujeito se constitua como um ser além do que foi modelado para ser, para a transcendência. A partir de pesquisa bibliográfica, especialmente das obras de Levinas e Gur-Ze’ev, procurou-se elaborar uma “linguagem da educação” que não limite a relação educacional à “linguagem da aprendizagem”. Concluiu-se que a Educação a Distância não oferece condições para a transcendência erótica, para o encontro do Eu ético com Outro, como cria barreiras que impedem esse encontro e aprisionam o “sujeito” na sua rede de prazeres e de autossatisfações.
