Specificities of prison and its approximation with education in Paraná: brief notes from the literature review

Resumo: | This work has the objective of presenting studies that deal with the educational practice facing the specificity of the prison space. Its possibilities and limits are observed and approximations of the context of prisons in Paraná are identified. For this, the literature review was chosen, and it was possible to point out and select the productions related to the investigations on education in prisons, outlining its conditions and supporting documents. The search of the documents dealt with the publications in two phases: from 1996 to 2006 and 2007 to 2017. The selection and classification of the documents were defined from the following categories of analysis: Prison Education, Educational Legislation, Legislation and Prison Public Policies. Thus, of the eleven publications selected, education was observed with a function of justification of permanence and maintenance of the prison sentence with a view to the progressive and reducing aspect of the damages caused by the current prison conditions. Se observan sus posibilidades y sus límites y se identifican aproximaciones del contexto de las prisiones paranaenses. Para ello, se optó por la revisión de literatura, siendo posible identificar y seleccionar las producciones referentes a las investigaciones sobre la educación en las prisiones, para delinear las condiciones y los documentos que la respaldan. La búsqueda de los documentos trató de las publicaciones en dos fases: de 1996 a 2006 y de 2007 a 2017. La selección y la clasificación de los documentos fueron definidas a partir de las siguientes categorías de análisis: Educación Prisional, Legislación Educacional, Legislación y Políticas Públicas Prisionales. De este modo, de las once publicaciones seleccionadas, se observó la educación con una función de justificación de permanencia y de mantenimiento de la pena de prisión con vistas al aspecto progresivo y reductor de los daños causados por las condiciones carcelarias actuales. Palabras claves: Prisión. Educación. Paraná.Este trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar estudos que tratam da prática educacional frente à especificidade do espaço prisional. Observam-se suas possibilidades e seus limites e identificam-se aproximações do contexto das prisões paranaenses. Para tanto, optou-se pela revisão de literatura, sendo possível apontar e selecionar as produções referentes às investigações sobre a educação nas prisões, de forma a delinear as condições e os documentos que a respaldam. A busca dos documentos tratou das publicações em duas fases: de 1996 a 2006 e de 2007 a 2017. A seleção e a classificação dos documentos foram definidas a partir das seguintes categorias de análise: Educação Prisional, Legislação Educacional, Legislação e Políticas Públicas Prisionais. Desse modo, das onze publicações selecionadas, foi observada a educação com uma função de justificativa de permanência e de manutenção da pena de prisão com vistas ao aspecto progressivo e redutor dos danos causados pelas condições carcerárias atuais.
