Teaching reading and its relation with elementary school teachers’ education: notes from the academic production

Resumo: This paper presents some reflections built from a bibliographic review of the academic production related to teaching reading from 2013 and 2016, related to the actions of implementation of the Right Age Literacy National Pact (PNAIC, Brazilian abbreviation). The methodological procedures were guided by the definition of categories which emerged during the investigations to explain the objects of study identified regarding teaching reading. The analysis revealed that the studies related to the PNAIC have increased significantly in post-graduation programs, demonstrating the researchers’ concern with the study and understanding of how the pact has been made concrete in literacy practices. It is noticeable, however, that there is a gap between theory and practice and the valuation of tacit knowledge in the government proposal for elementary school teachers’ education.   Keywords: Reading. Los procedimientos metodológicos fueron guiados por la definición de categorías emergentes de las investigaciones para explicitar los objetos de estudio que se delinearon en cuanto a la enseñanza de la lectura. El análisis permitió constatar que los estudios relacionados con el PNAIC han aumentado sustancialmente en programas de postgrado, demostrando la preocupación de investigadores en estudiar y comprender cómo éste se ha consolidado en las prácticas de alfabetización. Es perceptible, por lo tanto, en las propuestas gubernamentales para la formación de alfabetizadores, la desarticulación entre teoría y práctica y la valoración del conocimiento tácito.   Palabras clave: Lectura. Formación de alfabetizadores.Este artigo apresenta reflexões tecidas a partir de uma revisão bibliográfica da produção acadêmica relacionada ao ensino da leitura, entre os anos de 2013 a 2016, referente às ações de implementação do Pacto Nacional pela Alfabetização na Idade Certa (PNAIC). Os procedimentos metodológicos foram norteados pela definição de categorias emergentes das investigações para explicitar os objetos de estudo que se delineiam quanto ao ensino da leitura. A análise permitiu constatar que os estudos relacionados ao PNAIC têm aumentado substancialmente em programas de pós-graduação, demonstrando a preocupação de pesquisadores em estudar e compreender como este tem se consolidado nas práticas de alfabetização. É perceptível, no entanto, nas propostas governamentais para a formação de alfabetizadores, a desarticulação entre teoria e prática e a valorização do conhecimento tácito.   Palavras-chave: Leitura.
