Resumo: | This paper presents the case study of a process of deschooling of a 6th grade Elementary School student from the public school in Distrito Federal, Brazil, and under the theoretical framework of psychoanalysis. The research methodology occurred from the participant observation in which it was possible to interact with the subjects involved in the research through transference and, during the writing, in the analysis of the written and artistic texts of the subject of the study. The school year in which the deschooling process occurred, which was followed up, was marked by conflicts between the subject, the school and the family, showing a failure in the relationship between the school and family institutions. Questions about the difference between home and epistemological knowledge permeate the case analysis and culminate in an inconclusive and complex outcome regarding the effects of this deschooling. Epistemological knowledge.Este artículo presenta el estudio de caso de un proceso de desescolarización de un alumno de sexto grado de Educación Básica de la red pública de enseñanza en el Distrito Federal de Brasil, y bajo el marco teórico del psicoanálisis. La metodología de investigación ocurrió a partir de la observación participante en la que fue posible interactuar con los sujetos involucrados en la investigación por medio de la transferencia y, durante la escritura, en el análisis de los textos escritos y artísticos del sujeto de estudio. El año escolar en que ocurrió la desescolarización estuvo, el cual fue acompañado, fue marcado por conflictos entre el sujeto, la escuela y la familia, evidenciando un fracaso en la relación entre las instituciones Escuela y Familia. Las preguntas sobre la diferencia entre los saberes caseros y el epistemológicos impregnan el análisis del caso y culminan en un resultado no concluyente y complejo sobre los efectos de esta desescolarización. Saber epistemológico.Este artigo apresenta o estudo de caso de um processo de desescolarização de um aluno do 6º ano do Ensino Fundamental II da rede pública de ensino do Distrito Federal e sob o referencial teórico da psicanálise. A metodologia de pesquisa ocorreu a partir da observação participante na qual foi possível interagir com os sujeitos envolvidos na pesquisa por meio da transferência e, durante a escrita, na análise dos textos escritos e artísticos do sujeito do estudo. O ano letivo no qual ocorreu a desescolarização, o qual foi acompanhado, foi marcado por conflitos entre o sujeito, a escola e a família, evidenciando um fracasso na relação das instituições escola e família. Questões acerca da diferença entre os saberes caseiros e epistemológicos permeiam as análises do caso e culminam em um resultado inconclusivo e complexo quanto aos efeitos dessa desescolarização.
