Resumo: This paper examines the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on the education system in Quebec/Canada. For that end, it analyzes a set of journalistic and opinion articles published between March 26 and May 20, 2020, in the main papers of the Quebec province. The paper seeks to identify the different impacts and rearrangements in the school education of children aged from four to eleven years old during the health crisis and to discuss how the existing educational inequalities have been significantly increased through measures to contain the spread of the virus. Finally, we reflected on the future of the school system and the importance of the right to health to go hand in hand with the right to education, to reaffirm the place of the public school as a possibility of eradicating inequalities and guaranteeing more just and equitable societies in the future. Para ello, se analiza un conjunto de artículos periodísticos y artículos de opinión publicados entre el 26 de marzo y el 20 de mayo de 2020 en los principales periódicos de la provincia de Quebec. El artículo busca identificar los diferentes impactos y reordenamientos en la educación escolar de niños entre cuatro y once años de edad durante la crisis sanitaria; y discutir cómo las desigualdades educativas ya existentes fueron ampliadas significativamente a partir de las medidas de contención de la propagación del virus. Al final, se reflexiona sobre el futuro del sistema escolar y sobre la importancia de que el derecho a la salud camine lado a lado con el derecho a la educación, para reafirmar el lugar de la escuela pública como una posibilidad de erradicar las desigualdades y garantizar sociedades más justas y equitativas en el futuro. Para isso, analisa-se um conjunto de matérias jornalísticas e artigos de opinião publicados entre 26 de março e 20 de maio de 2020, nos principais jornais da província de Quebec. O artigo procura identificar os diferentes impactos e rearranjos na educação escolar de crianças, entre quatro e 11 anos de idade, durante a crise sanitária, e discutir como as desigualdades educacionais já existentes foram significativamente ampliadas a partir das medidas de contenção da propagação do vírus. Ao final, reflete-se sobre o futuro do sistema escolar e sobre a importância de o direito à saúde caminhar lado a lado ao direito à educação, para reafirmar o lugar da escola pública como possibilidade de erradicação das desigualdades e garantia de sociedades mais justas e equitativas no futuro.    Palavras-chave: Ensino Fundamental.
