El objetivo principal es proponer una discusión sobre el cuerpo gordo desde la perspectiva de la Geografía, abordando cuestiones relacionadas con el cuerpo gordo, analizando y reflexionando sobre los diversos espacios y cómo estos terminan disciplinando nuestros cuerpos. Ya sea desde el punto de vista de la salud, los medios de comunicación o el ciberespacio en su conjunto. Es un escrito dedicado a revelar la problemática de estos espacios y cómo terminan impactando en la vida cotidiana de los cuerpos gordos.Esta é uma escrita que pode causar algumas inquietações. Por outro lado, é uma possibilidade de reflexão. O objetivo central é propor uma discussão do corpo gordo a partir do olhar da Geografia, abordando questões relacionadas ao corpo gordo, analisando e refletindo os diversos espaços e como estes acabam disciplinando os nossos corpos. Seja pelo viés da saúde, seja pela mídia, ou no ciberespaço como um todo.
