Resumo: This article exposes the different textual-discursive knowledge, specific to popular communication that takes place on the border between Brazil and Paraguay. The objective is to present a study developed on translingual practices that occur in this hybrid frontier, in the space corresponding to State Mato Grosso do Sul/Brazil, a specific locus, whose cross-border context is formed by Brazilians Paraguayan descendants, Guarani Indians and other Brazilians. In an interdisciplinary approach, such practices were observed in the daily oral communication of its users, highlighted examples, to be studied from the perspective of Cultural Studies, combined with Language and Folkcommunication studies. It was found that the cross-language practices make it possible to resifnify and recombine the identities of the various social actors to make them cross-border hybrid cultures. El objetivo es presentar um estudio desarrollado sobre prácticas transnacionales que se producen em esta frontera híbrida, en el espacio correspondiente al estado Mato Grosso do Sul/Brasil, un lugar específico, cuyo contexto transfronterizo está formado por brasileños de ascendencia paraguaya, indios guaraníes y otros brasileños. En un enfoque interdisciplinario, tales prácticas se observaron en la comunicación oral diaria entre sus usuarios, destacando ejemplos, para ser estudiados desde la perspectiva de los Estudios Culturales, combinados con los estudios de Lenguaje y Comunicación Popular (Folkcomunicación). Se descubrió que las prácticas multilingües permiten replantear y recombinar las identidades de diferentes actores sociales, para hacerlas culturas híbridas transfronterizas. Translinguages; Idioma guaraní; Transfronterizo; Brasil-Paraguay.O presente artigo expõe os diferentes conhecimentos textuais-discursivos, específicos de comunicação popular que acontece na fronteira entre o Brasil e o Paraguai. Objetiva-se apresentar um estudo desenvolvido sobre práticas translíngues que ocorrem nessa fronteira híbrida, no espaço correspondente ao Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul/Brasil, um locus específico, cujo contexto transfronteiriço é formado por brasileiros descendentes de paraguaios, índios Guarani e outros brasileiros. Numa abordagem interdisciplinar, tais práticas foram observadas na comunicação oral cotidiana de seus usuários, destacando exemplos, para serem estudados pela ótica dos Estudos Culturais, combinados com os estudos de Linguagem e de Fokcomunicação. Verificou-se que as práticas translinguajeiras possibilitam ressignificar e recombinar as identidades dos diversos atores sociais, para torná-las culturas híbridas transfronteiriças.
