Resumo: The importance of having a specific teaching material for the quilombola community is understood, so that students can learn about the culture of their community and have a meaningful learning, for those who do not belong to the traditional community, they can know the people life style and so respect them. The study is descriptive with a qualitative approach and aims to analyze the teaching material “Quilombolas Narratives: dialogue - know - communicate”, carried out by the São Paulo State Department of Education and by the Educational Inclusion Center, recognizing the importance of narratives as an instrument of knowledge and appreciation of the quilombos traditions, stories, struggles and resistance, as a didactic resource, they allow textual, grammatical and sociocultural exploration, providing interdisciplinarity and interaction with traditional knowledge. El estudio es de naturaleza descriptiva con un enfoque cualitativo y tiene como objetivo analizar el material didáctico “Narrativas de Quilombolas: dialogar - conocer - comunicar”, realizado por el Departamento de Educación del Estado de São Paulo y por el Centro de Inclusión Educativa, reconociendo la importancia de las narrativas como instrumento de conocimiento y apreciación de las tradiciones, historias, luchas y resistencia de los quilombos, como recurso didáctico, permiten la exploración textual, gramatical y sociocultural, proporcionando interdisciplinariedad e interacción con el conocimiento tradicional. Educación; Quilombola; Comunidad afrobrasileña; Pueblos tradicionales.Compreende-se a importância de se ter um material didático específico para a comunidade quilombola, para que os alunos possam conhecer a cultura de sua comunidade e ter um aprendizado significativo, para os que não pertencem à comunidade tradicional, podem conhecer a forma de vida desse povo e assim, respeitá-lo. O estudo é de natureza descritiva de abordagem qualitativa e objetiva analisar o material didático “Narrativas Quilombolas: dialogar – conhecer – comunicar”, realizado pela Secretaria da Educação do Estado de São Paulo e pelo Núcleo de Inclusão Educacional, reconhecendo-se a importância das narrativas como um instrumento de conhecimento e valorização das tradições, histórias, lutas e resistências dos Quilombos, como recurso didático, permitem a exploração textual, gramatical e sociocultural, propiciando a interdisciplinaridade e interação com os saberes tradicionais.
