Resumo: Neste artigo, objetivamos destacar as ações, rupturas, permanências e resistências de gêneros e de poder no contexto de trabalho e vida de mulheres sócias da Associação de Reciclagem de Presidente Epitácio – ARPE, localizada no interior do Estado de São Paulo - SP. Utilizamos a metodologia em História Oral, com o emprego de entrevistas semiestruturadas, em paralelo às contribuições teóricas elencadas pelos Estudos Históricos, Culturais e Pós-Colonais. Percebemos que este espaço de trabalho tem possibilitado às mulheres catadoras novas experiências pessoais e profissionais, a partir do momento em que buscam subverter o ideal uníssono e equivocado de feminilidade. É, pois, no âmbito do trabalho com os recicláveis que as participantes desta pesquisa, apesar das adversidades cotidianas, se percebem portadoras de histórias a serem publicizadas pelas pesquisas acadêmicas e se reconhecem pessoas dotadas de direitos e vozes no âmbito de importantes movimentos sociais.  Palavras-Chave: Movimentos Sociais. Relações de Gêneros e de Poder. Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to highlight the actions, breaks, continuities and resistances of gender and power in both life context and employment context of the female members from the Recycling Association of Presidente Epitácio – SP – ARPE. We used the Oral History methodology, with semi-structured interviews and also the theoretical contributions by the Historical, Cultural and Postcolonial Studies. We realize that this work space allows to female waste pickers new personal and professional experiences, from the moment in which they seek to subvert the ideal unison and misconceived of femininity. It is, therefore, in the context of working with recyclables, that the participants in this study, despite the daily tribulations, perceive themselves as having stories which will be publicized by academic research, and recognize themselves as people with rights and voices in the context of important social movements.  Keywords: Social Movements.
