“Know and preserve” project: socio-environmental contributions to participants egresses from the Ecojovem ecological group, municipality of João Câmara/RN

Resumo: For this reason, this study aimed to analyze the perception of the social and environmental contributions of the Project “Knowing and Preserving: The Socio-environmental contributions to graduate participants from the Ecological Group called “Ecojovem” in the city of João Câmara in Rio Grande do Norte” after 10 years of its conclusion. A questionnaire, using the Google forms platform, was prepared and became available between February 7 and April 15, 2017, and it was disseminated to participants through social networks. The characterization of the group took place through the analysis of the internal regulations of the project carried out in order to clarify the organizational structure and its legal precepts. 16 members of the group participated in the research. The contributions reported by them refer to a direct relationship with the affective and emotional memories, in addition to a meaningful improvement of the school environment in which the project was inserted. Another contribution to the city was also mentioned, it took several young people out of idleness and gave them the role of protagonists in a story that involved different relationships with the environment. The appreciation and recognition of the need to strengthen local public policies aiming the conservation of Serra do Torreão was highlighted by the participants.

El cuestionario fue elaborado a través de la plataforma de formularios de Google, que estuvo disponible entre el 7 de febrero y el 15 de abril de 2017, siendo difundido a los participantes a través de las redes sociales. La caracterización del grupo se basó en el análisis del reglamento interno del proyecto, con el fin de aclarar la estructura organizacional y sus preceptos legales. Dieciséis ex miembros del grupo participaron en la investigación. Las contribuciones relatadas por los participantes se refieren a una relación directa con los recuerdos afectivos y emocionales de los ex participantes, además de una mejora significativa del espacio escolar en el que se insertó el proyecto. Se mencionó un aporte al municipio, al sacar a los jóvenes de la ociosidad, dándoles el rol de protagonistas de una historia que involucraba diferentes relaciones con el medio ambiente. Los participantes destacaron la apreciación y el reconocimiento de la necesidad de fortalecer las políticas públicas locales dirigidas a la conservación de la Serra do Torreão.Objetivou-se analisar a percepção sobre as contribuições socioambientais do Projeto “Conhecer e preservar” pelos participantes egressos após 10 anos de sua conclusão. O questionário foi elaborado através da plataforma Google forms que ficou disponível entre os dias 07 de fevereiro a 15 de abril de 2017, sendo divulgadas aos participantes por redes sociais. A caracterização do grupo se deu pela análise do regimento interno do projeto, a fim de esclarecer a estrutura organizacional e os seus preceitos legais. Participaram da pesquisa 16 membros egressos do grupo. As contribuições relatadas pelos participantes fazem referência a uma relação direta com as memórias afetivas e emocionais dos participantes egressos, além de uma significativa melhoria do espaço escolar na qual o projeto estava inserido. Foi mencionada uma contribuição ao município, pela retirada de jovens da ociosidade, dando a eles o papel de protagonistas em uma história que envolvia diferentes relações com o meio ambiente.
