Identification of environmental problems from the perspective of elementar and high school students in Rio Paranaíba-MG

Resumo: | Knowledge of environmental problems is important for discussing and taking action on environmental conservation. Rio Paranaíba is marked by intense agricultural production and few environmental conservation incentive programs. The objective was to verify the identification of environmental problems from the perspective of elementary and high school students, to make them aware of this problem, as well as to highlight the importance of different biomes and their conservation. Specific methodologies were applied to the age groups involving questionnaires, videos, lectures and recreational activities in three schools in the municipality. Elementary school students presented a vision of the globalized environment. The students of Elementary School II and High School presented a "naturalist" view of the environment, not associating nature and society. Students and teachers demonstrated that many of the topics covered during the activities were new to them. |

Rio Paranaíba está caracterizado por una intensa producción agrícola y pocos programas de incentivos de conservación ambiental. El objetivo fue verificar la identificación de problemas ambientales desde la perspectiva de los estudiantes de primaria y secundaria, para concientizarlos sobre esta problemática, así como resaltar la importancia de los diferentes biomas y su conservación. Se aplicaron metodologías específicas a los grupos de edad mediante cuestionarios, videos, charlas y actividades recreativas en tres escuelas del municipio. Los alumnos de primaria presentaron una visión del entorno globalizado. Los alumnos de Primaria II y Bachillerato presentaron una visión "naturalista" del medio ambiente, sin asociar naturaleza y sociedad. Los estudiantes y profesores demostraron que muchos de los temas tratados durante las actividades eran nuevos para ellos.O conhecimento dos problemas ambientais é importante para a discussão e tomada de atitudes sobre a conservação do meio ambiente. Rio Paranaíba é marcado pela intensa produção agrícola e poucos programas de incentivo a conservação ambiental. Objetivou-se verificar a identificação dos problemas ambientais na ótica dos estudantes do Ensino Fundamental e Médio, conscientizá-los sobre esta problemática, bem como, destacar a importância dos diferentes biomas e sua conservação. Foram aplicadas metodologias específicas às faixas etárias envolvendo questionários, vídeos, palestras e atividades lúdicas em três escolas do município. Os estudantes do Ensino Fundamental I apresentaram uma visão do meio ambiente globalizado. Já os estudantes do Ensino Fundamental II e Médio apresentaram uma visão "naturalista" do meio ambiente, não associando natureza e sociedade.
