Resumo: | The use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in favor of Education has been widely discussed in today's society. This work aimed to identify which Assistive Technologies (AT) have been used in the teaching-learning process of deaf students in Basic Education considering the theses and dissertations defended between the years 2014 and 2019, and to map which ones are more adequate to supply the needs of deaf students. However, after consulting the digital databases of theses and dissertations, what we found was a deep scarcity of investigations aimed at analyzing the inclusion of deaf students in Basic Education, through the use of Assistive Technologies. Among the researches that met the established criteria, it is possible to affirm the identification of a gap between the production of these technologies and their use in this locus. Thus, after analyzing the data, we conclude that, despite all the advances in Assistive Technologies in recent years, there is still a long way to go for the inclusion of deaf children in the school context. |

Thus, after analyzing the data, we conclude that, despite all the advances in Assistive Technologies in recent years, there is still a long way to go for the inclusion of deaf children in the school context.
