The new High School and NCCB: the state of Mato Grosso in focus

Resumo: This article aims to analyze how the state of Mato Grosso implemented the changes in the state education network introduced by Law n°13.415/2017, verifying to what extent the alignment with the concepts of the current reform of High School and the establishment of Brazil’s National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) is maintained. This is a descriptive and exploratory study, with a qualitative approach, which uses documental research as a data collection technique. The indicated data are part of an ongoing master's research, developed within the scope of the Postgraduate Program in Education at the Federal University of Mato Grosso. The results demonstrate that the state of Mato Grosso is in line with the training perspective brought by the BNCC, aiming at building an education model that inter-relates working hours, announcement of the development of young people's life project and the possibility of professional training linked to High School within the state network scope. The Full Time Schools were an experience in this sense. It is noted that the reform does not seem to account for the effective democratization of education, which allows conditions of access, permanence and identification of young people in High School, as there are deeper social issues that cannot be ignored.

Se trata de un estudio descriptivo y exploratorio, que, bajo un enfoque cualitativo, utiliza de la investigación documental como técnica de análisis. Los datos que aquí se señalan forman parte de una investigación más amplia, en curso en el Programa de Posgrado en Educación. Los resultados demuestran que MT se parea a la perspectiva de formación que recoge la BNCC al enderezar la construcción de un modelo educacional que abarca la ampliación de la jornada laboral, el desarrollo de un proyecto de vida para los jóvenes y la formación profesional articulada a la Enseñanza Secundaria en la enseãnanza estatal. Las “Escolas Plenas” han sido una experiencia en ello. La reforma no parece llevar a efectivo un cambio sustancioso, pues quedan cuestiones sociales de fondo que merecen más atención.Objetiva-se analisar como o estado de Mato Grosso (MT) encaminhou as mudanças diante da Lei n°13.415/2017, verificando o alinhamento com as concepções da atual reforma do Ensino Médio e estabelecimento da Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC). Trata-se de um estudo de caráter descritivo e exploratório, com abordagem qualitativa, que utiliza a pesquisa documental como técnica de coleta de dados. Os dados indicados são parte de pesquisa de mestrado em andamento, no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação. Os resultados demonstram que MT coaduna com a perspectiva de formação trazida pela BNCC, visando a construção de um modelo que relaciona extensão de jornada, desenvolvimento de projeto de vida dos jovens e formação profissional articulada ao Ensino Médio no escopo da rede estadual. As Escolas Plenas foram uma experiência nesse sentido.
