The integration between teaching, research and extension in the perception of students and in the Course Pedagogical Projects at UERGS

Resumo: According to the Brazilian Federal Constitution, institutions of higher education are expected to address issues related to teaching, research and extension in an associated way. Within university graduation courses, the document responsible for proposing the course structures and from which information is expected regarding the means of providing students with such articulations are the course pedagogical projects (PPCs). Thus, this article aims to present, through the analysis of five PPCs of undergraduate courses at the State University of Rio Grande do Sul and interviews with its graduates, information on the articulations between research, teaching and extension within the courses. As final results, it was possible to perceive that although undergraduates enter early in research in their areas, CPPs present internal weaknesses in terms of explanations of how to make this integration viable.

En los cursos de graduación universitaria, el documento encargado de proponer las estructuras del curso y del cual se espera información sobre cómo proporcionar a los estudiantes dichas articulaciones son los proyectos pedagógicos de curso (PPC). Así, este artículo tiene como objetivo presentar, a través del análisis de cinco PPC de cursos de graduación de la Universidad Estatal do Rio Grande do Sul y de entrevistas con sus estudiantes, informaciones sobre las articulaciones entre investigación, enseñanza y extensión en esos cursos. Como resultados, fue posible percibir que a pesar de que los estudiantes comienzan temprano a participar en investigaciones en sus áreas, los PPC presentan debilidades internas en cuanto a las explicaciones de cómo viabilizar esa integración.De acordo com a Constituição Federal, espera-se das instituições de ensino superior o atendimento de modo indissociável de questões relativas a ensino, pesquisa e extensão. Nos cursos de graduação universitária, o documento responsável pela proposição das estruturas do curso e do qual se espera a informação quanto aos meios de prover aos estudantes tais articulações são os projetos pedagógicos de curso (PPCs). Dessa forma, o presente artigo tem por objetivo apresentar, através da análise de cinco PPCs de cursos de graduação da Universidade Estadual do Rio Grande do Sul e de entrevistas a seus graduandos, informações sobre as articulações entre pesquisa, ensino e extensão nesses cursos.
