Resumo: | The present study brings an analysis about the thermal-hygrometric field in two different areas in Campo Grande neighborhood, in the city of Rio de Janeiro/RJ, which are the Center and a sub-neighborhood named as Rio da Prata. It was aimed to examine the results about relative air humidity and air temperature obtained during fieldworks using and also through satellite images showing the surface temperature, in two different days during summer and winter seasons of the year 2016, providing to identify heat island areas. It was able to identify a relation between land use and cover with air and surface temperature changes, as well to the relative humidity. This way, in the areas where the urbanization is lower and the vegetation is higher, there is a trend for a reduction on air and surface temperatures, beyond the increase on air humidity. |

Visa-se examinar os resultados encontrados nas medidas de umidade relativa e temperatura do ar em campo e nas imagens de satélite com a temperatura de superfície, em datas específicas, coincidindo com o verão e o inverno do ano de 2016. Dessa forma, proporciona-se a investigação das áreas que detectaram ilhas de calor. Identificou-se a relação entre o uso e a ocupação do solo com as alterações na temperatura do ar e de superfície, e na umidade relativa do ar.
