Resumo: This thesis investigates the psychoanalytic transfer having as axis of reading the Lacanian concept of subject supposed to know. From it, a double objective is sought: to identify the consequences that the final moment of Jacques Lacan s teaching generated for the conceptualization of the transference as well as to explore its consequences for the clinical orientation of the psychoanalyst in the present time. Therefore, in addition to studying the conceptual production of psychoanalysis itself, through the work of Sigmund Freud, the teaching of Jacques Lacan and his commentators, we will try to extract a reading of certain current socio-cultural peculiarities - such as the overestimation of knowledge, the evaluation and the molecularization of life - and their consequences for this central clinical phenomenon

A partir dele, se busca um duplo objetivo: identificar as consequências que o momento final do ensino de Jacques Lacan gerou para a conceptualização da transferência bem como explorar suas consequências para a orientação clínica do psicanalista na atualidade.
