This research investigates youth activism. It analyzes the connection between the condition of being young and actions which represents the young activist. This study considers that such connection happens in the same place where we have the mediation of the militant action. This investigation emphasizes actions, events kand mobilizations related to the youth activism and also to the field of social and political arrangements in the west zone of Rio. This study considers west zone involves Área de Planejamento 5, regiões administrativas de Realengo (XXXIII RA), Bangu (XVII RA), Campo Grande (XVIII RA) and Santa Cruz (XIX RA) and more specifically the districts of Bangu and Senador Camará (in particular Vila Aliança housing estate). This research also tries making approaches to the reality of Baixada Fluminense, concerning to the investigations and researcher s experiences which makes possible comparisons and analyses. It was noticed that the young political activist takes part not only of cultural activities and of the student movement (high schools and universities) but he is also involved in activities concerned to the human rights, urban questions, surrounding urban areas, power, violence, genre and ethnic matters. The young activist who is focused on this research experiences not only his proletarian condition but also his conditions in terms of existence living and his future. The research involves identification in the field of study, direct observations, dialogues and interviews. In addition the study considers activists and mediators opinions and narratives on the social medias, particularly on the Facebook
