Resumo: This dissertation investigates the paths that point to the Brazilian audiovisual, from the analysis of the first season of the TV series Magnífica 70, produced by the cable channel HBO Latin America, in partnership with the Brazilian producer Conspiração Filmes, and aired in the year 2015. The aims of this research include producing a reflection on the paths that this audiovisual narrative model has been tracing to establish itself as a product of Brazilian teledramaturgy, as well as a reflection on the dialogues about cultural, social and political issues and the North American production model. From the concept of "complex narrative" developed by Jason Mittel (2015), the theme is put into dialogue with important narrative theorists such as Paul Ricoeur (2012) and Mikhail Bakhtin (1981). Also, part of this analysis are the relations established between the series and a specific moment of Brazilian cinematographic production, the cycle of Boca do Lixo, in the 1970s, which precisely discusses the process of audiovisual production in a given context of the recent Brazilian history, the Military Dictatorship of the years 1970-80

Os objetivos deste trabalho compreendem a produção de uma reflexão sobre os caminhos que este modelo de narrativa audiovisual vem trilhando, para se estabelecer como um produto da teledramaturgia brasileira, bem como os diálogos travados com questões culturais, sociais, políticas e com um modelo de produção importado dos canais de televisão a cabo norte-americanos. A partir do conceito de narrativa complexa , desenvolvido por Jason Mittel (2015), o tema é posto em diálogo com importantes teóricos da narrativa, como Paul Ricoeur (2012) e Mikhail Bakhtin (1981).
