In this work, the constructions só que não , só que sim e só que nunca , applied to the discourse as indicative expressions of opposition or, in some cases, reiteration, accompanied by a certain nuance of irony are analyzed. Such constructions are analyzed in light of the Construction Grammar (GOLDBERG, 1995) and Conceptual Blending (FAUCONNIER; TURNER, 2002). The data were extracted from the widely used social network Facebook, by noted high frequency of use of these constructions in its posts, mainly in the form of the hashtag "#sóqueX" in which the element X is figured by the adverbs "não", "sim" or " nunca ". As they are constructions syntactically and semantically similar in their basic meaning, this research seeks to show that the extensions of meaning which carry the irony understood according to Coulson (2001; 2005) are provided pragmatically, from the context of use of these expressions. The irony is a linguistic resource widely used in a range of writing texts and especially in the oral texts. It is useful to mention that when using this resource, the writer / speaker intends to tell the reader / listener the opposite of what he says, contradicting or even inveighing, somehow, against himself or others. The analysis of these constructs revealed that "só que não" plays the role of a trigger that highlights the opposition of the ideas presented, whereas "só que sim" indicates reiteration of the thought expressed in the text and "só que nunca" may indicate, in addition to opposition, a strong re-categorization of the proposed facts
