The present thesis has been undertaken at the Post-Graduation in Education Programme of the Rio de Janeiro State University (PROPED/UERJ). It presents, narrates and discusses our cyber research-training investigation named Online Museum Education: a cyber research-training at/with the Teaching Assistance Sector of the National Museum (SAE, MN/UFRJ), and aims to understand Museum Education in/with cyberculture, based on the daily experiences lived in/with the educational networks of the Teaching Assistance Sector of the National Museum (SAE/MN). The research methodology is based on the theoretical and methodological approaches of the everyday research method (Alves, 2008; Certeau, 2014), the multi-referential epistemological practice (Ardoino, 1998) and the cyber research-training method (Santos, E., 2014, 2019) in dialogue with the concept of Museum Education (IBRAM, 2018). During this research, a new concept and practice emerges. The Online Museum Education concept and practice presupposes the understanding of museums and their digital social networks - or any other online type of presence - as multi-referential learning spaces in which dialogue - conversations - with/between cultural practitioners (audiences and non-usual audiences) and the triggering of emotions are the basis of its educational actions, fostered by online museum mediation which promotes the creation and socialization of knowledge, learning, feelings, emotions, concerns, inventions in interactivity and in an environment in which multiple aspects (intellectual, cognitive, psychosocial, cultural, historical, etc.) are exchanged horizontally. Online digital technologies are understood and used as contemporary cultural interfaces/devices that enhance these creations and exchanges which, in turn, are represented by texts, images and sounds.
