Resumo: | Contemporary society presents a scenario marked by cyberculture (LÉVY, 2010), in which it is common to observe a technological ubiquity, in which social relations are permeated by networked digital artifacts, bringing other modes of coexistence and communication. The relationships between people, made present in the digital universe, signal other ways of enunciating the word, of touching and acting towards the other responsively (BAKHTIN, 2011). In this context, I present the doctorate research produced at the State University of Rio de Janeiro/UERJ, under the guidance of Professor Dr. Maria Luiza Magalhães Bastos Oswald, coordinator of the Childhood, Youth, Education and Culture Research Group/IJEC. The present study aims at knowing the production of meanings of normalists given to memes in contemporary times, which permeated by networked digital technologies (SANTOS; CARVALHO, 2021) triggers other modes of reading, writing and expression. Between physical conversations, on WhatsApp and on Meet, space was opened for sharing thoughts and feelings (SERPA, 2010), with the students’ social storms and clandestine murmurs (GERALDI, 2010) emerging in memes. What have normalists been enunciating in memes? In search of possible answers, the path is towards the word, understanding it as meaning, psychic experience, ideology, action and event that collides with technology not only as an instrument, but as a responsive and revolutionary cultural practice. The present study understands networked digital technologies as environments circle, language is understood as a phenomenon with essence, place and destiny in social life (VOLOCHÍNOV, 2013), memes becoming expressions laden with ideological densities, sometimes promoting the popular festive laughter, cheerful and mocking, sometimes demonstrating a satirical authorship, with a negative and biting humor, destined to the mortification of life. As a cultural practice of students, memes are characterized by the hybridization of language that, by appealing to laughter and irony, are translated as critical enunciation, revealing clues about what normalists experience in their training process inside and outside the school. Like Bakhtin, it is believed that it is in the ideology of everyday life that the popular class reacts to official ideologies in search of its transformation. |

Submitted by Barbara Marques CEH/A (barbara_marques@id.uff.br) on 2023-05-04T18:27:53Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Tese - Ana Paula da Silva Conceição Oliveira - 2023 - Completa.pdf: 5169147 bytes, checksum: 8ccc98c22c590995ef94e53378559238 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2023-05-04T18:27:53Z (GMT). Contemporary society presents a scenario marked by cyberculture (LÉVY, 2010), in which it is common to observe a technological ubiquity, in which social relations are permeated by networked digital artifacts, bringing other modes of coexistence and communication. |
