Desenhos-estórias e narrativas de adolescentes: qualidade de vida, prática de estudantes moradores de periferia e sua leitura de mundo

Resumo: The end of this dissertation was to capture social representations of elementary school students about quality of life through the involvement of the subjects of the school and the surrounding community (s). In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a municipal school was selected, located in the northern part of Rio de Janeiro. We take as theoretical-methodological framework. We take as theoretical-methodological framework the contributions of Serge Moscovici in which deals with the Theory of Social Representations (TRS), later disseminated by other researchers. Minayo balized The conception of quality of life. Paulo Freire brought us the humanizing, dialogical and liberating conceptions of the subjects, showing us possible ways to face the violence present in schools. Regarding the biases of sustainability, we gathered the assumptions of Filomena Lucia Gossler Rodrigues da Silva, Guilhermo Foladori and Moacir Gadotti. When we dealt with the events of everyday life we were grounded in Michel de Certau. With Walter Trinca's drawingstory (D-E) technique, we investigated the meanings captured by the iconic and textual expressions of the students regarding the quality of life. We also seek to understand the relationship existing between the community and the school in the construction of collective identity and solidarity practices, promoting participation, as well the importance of these practices in schools of the periphery, as a stimulus to citizenship. The information was collected by narratives and questionnaires, as well as field books, cell phone recordings, photos and images taken at school events. The field was made with the participation of 80 subjects with their reports and inquiries, 40 students and 40 inhabitants of the community. We believe that this path will help us to think school strategies and tactics to develop forms of action and behaviors that value social sustainability. For the students, the words with the most sharing were education, health, family and money, in this order, being also words more readily evoked. We saw that such expressions are in line with those also brought by the residents of the community. At once, the most evoked words were health, money, education, and family. This fact showed us that the demands coming from the community are closer to those idealized by the students in their conceptions and DEs regarding what was captured and what is projected in relation to the quality of life. Both groups understand that education proposes paths for us, being understood as one of the essential factors for improving the quality of life. The expected results are the promotion of awareness that strengthens the quality of life. What could be achieved with the research was that through PR it is possible to provide in the school a space of formative genesis for the discussion of quality of life.

Com o intuito de serem alcançados os objetivos do estudo, foi selecionada uma escola municipal, localizada na Zona Norte do Rio de Janeiro. Tomamos como arcabouço teórico-metodológico as contribuições de Serge Moscovici em que trata da Teoria das Representações Sociais (TRS), posteriormente, difundida por outros pesquisadores. Minayo balizou a concepção de qualidade de vida. Paulo Freire nos trouxe as concepções humanizadoras, dialógicas e libertadoras dos sujeitos, mostrando-nos caminhos possíveis frente às violências presentes nas escolas. No tocante ao viés das sustentabilidades, reunimos os pressupostos de Filomena Lucia Gossler Rodrigues da Silva, Guilhermo Foladori e Moacir Gadotti. Ao tratarmos dos eventos do cotidiano, estivemos fundamentados em Michel de Certau. Com a técnica de Desenho-Estória (D-E) de Walter Trinca, investigamos os sentidos captados pelas expressões icônicas e textuais dos estudantes a respeito da qualidade de vida. Buscamos entender, também, a relação existente entre a comunidade e a escola na construção de práticas coletivas identitárias e solidárias, promotoras de participação, assim como a importância dessas práticas em escolas de periferia, como estímulo à cidadania. As informações foram coletadas por narrativas e questionários, bem como caderneta de campo, gravações de celular, fotos e imagens captadas em eventos da escola. O campo foi feito com a participação de 80 sujeitos com seus relatos e indagações, 40 alunos e 40 moradores da comunidade. Acreditamos que tal caminho nos ajudou para que pudéssemos pensar estratégias e táticas escolares para desenvolver formas de ação e condutas que valorizassem a sustentabilidade social. Para os estudantes, as palavras com maior compartilhamento foram educação, saúde, família e dinheiro, nesta ordem, sendo, também, palavras mais prontamente evocadas. Vimos que tais expressões caminham ao encontro daquelas trazidas pelos moradores da comunidade. Tal fato nos mostrou que as demandas advindas da comunidade se aproximam às idealizadas pelos estudantes em suas concepções e D-Es a respeito do que foi captado e do que é projetado em relação à qualidade de vida. Ambos os grupos entendem que a educação nos propõe caminhos, sendo entendida como um dos fatores essenciais para a melhoria da qualidade de vida. Os resultados esperados são a promoção de tomadas de consciência, fortalecedoras da qualidade de vida.
