The purpose of this study is to compare how two formal educational experiences, that are distant in time / space, but present in the set of libertarian memories, figure in their respective historical contexts, and how they are understood as such. What struggles and actions are waged and how they are organized in time and in the school space? How do they place themselves in their pedagogical mission in each one of those contexts? What meanings do they present in their foundational speeches? Which self-awareness and of others foster – the balance of us/them? How and what educational experiences are observed in their own time, and in relation to the past school? What educational demands are sought to meet primarily at each moment? And, above all, as institutions, intentionally responsible for the formation of individuals, what processes of internalization of behaviors, values and feelings, seek to elaborate in relation to the human kind that wish to capacitate?
