Conectando Palavras, Transformando o Mundo: O podcast como Ferramenta educacional para a Autoexpressão

In this work, the intention is to emphasize the importance of working with oral genres, especially through podcast media, (LUIZ, 2010, 2014; PRIMO, 2005) in Portuguese language teaching, in view of developing skills and knowledge that favor its insertion as content producers in digital cultures (SANTAELLA, 2014). Podcasts have proved to be a great tool for thinking about education, and can be explored beyond school spaces, given they broadcast the most varied subjects in a variety of programs. Thus, in the light of the theoretical contributions of Mikhail Bakhtin, Luiz Antônio Marcuschi, Schneuwly and Dolz, among others, we intend to reflect on new ways of meaning making which were made possible by the Digital Technologies of Information and Communication (MORAN, 1999) and the multiliteracies. (KALANTZIS, COPE, PINHEIRO, 2020), considering the relevance of their insertion in the teaching-learning processes. The theoretical-methodological proposal presented, materialized in a pedagogical notebook for students of the second segment of elementary school, proposes a reflection on themes addressed in podcasts of real social circulation, as well as the analysis of their composition and style. The activities formulated in the pedagogical notebook “Podcasts: Connecting Words, Transforming the World – Pedagogical Activities to Listen and Create” seek to favor self-expression in the oral modality, providing forms of discursive appropriation in different situations of language use. Therefore, as part of the results generated by this research, it is expected to contribute to the development of orality, articulated to multiliteracies, providing an experience of producing podcasts, through oral digital genres of wide circulation in the contemporary cultural context.
