Resumo: The present dissertation has as object of study the conception of language, allegory and narrative in Walter Benjamin. Language is analyzed in its sensorial anthropologic conception, in the concept of extra-sensitive similarity and in the scope of principle, directed to the Adamic language and its fall. Allegory is conceived as philosophical critic to the philosophy of system and as responsible for the writing of history. Narrative is understood as the full meaning of language. Thus, narrative has the power to leave the meanings of history open to memory and, this way, to perpetuate the culture and the tradition of a people. Given the scope which constitute the researches object in the dissertation, we shall emphasize that we try to make an expositive and analytic description of it, without going deep in the critic aspect. What is sought in the research is a reflection about how our manner of constituting ourselves by language, and consequently, by allegoric writing and narrative, represents, in Walter Benjamin, the type of society we have become, or that we intend to become.

A linguagem é analisada na sua concepção antropológica sensorial, no conceito de semelhança extra sensível e no âmbito do princípio, voltado para a língua adâmica e sua queda. A alegoria é concebida enquanto crítica filosófica à filosofia de Sistema e como responsável pela escrita da história. A narrativa é concebida como sendo o sentido pleno da linguagem. Desse modo, a narrativa tem o poder de deixar em aberto os sentidos das histórias pela memória, e assim, perpetuar a cultura e a tradição de um povo. Dado o escopo que constitui o objeto pesquisado na dissertação, devemos ressaltar que procuramos fazer uma descrição expositiva e analítica do mesmo, sem nos aprofundarmos no aspecto crítico.
