Resumo: | The discrepancy between the training load prescribed by the coaches and that perceived by athletes from different sports and students in the special operations course can lead to poor adaptation to the intended training program. To date, there has been no published systematic review or meta-analysis on the differences between the training load prescribed by the coaches and the one perceived by the athletes and no study on the relationship between the load prescribed by the coach and the response perceived by the students in the special operations course. In this sense, it is necessary to have a better understanding of these relationships, which may assist coaches in prescribing training individually, thus optimizing physical performance. The objective of this Dissertation was to investigate the correspondence between the training planned by the coach and the one executed / perceived by athletes of different modalities and by the students of the special operations course. The first study, which was a systematic review with meta-analysis, showed that the included studies showed agreement between coaches and athletes on rating of perceived exertion (RPE) and session rating of perceived exertion (SRPE) considering all training sessions globally and SRPE in easy, moderate and hard sessions and divergences between the RPE prescribed by the coaches and that perceived by the athletes when the training sessions were categorized as easy and hard effort. However, the certainty of this evidence was very low. In the second study, which was an original article, the training load perceived by the students and the one prescribed by the coach were different. For the three classifications (easy, moderate and hard) of the physical training sessions, disagreements between coach and students also occurred. In addition, it has been shown that the level of cardiorespiratory fitness does not seem to influence the internal load responses and the magnitude of the internal training load does not seem to induce an increase in the "severity of symptoms" of upper respiratory tract infections (URTI) |

In addition, it has been shown that the level of cardiorespiratory fitness does not seem to influence the internal load responses and the magnitude of the internal training load does not seem to induce an increase in the "severity of symptoms" of upper respiratory tract infections (URTI)A discrepância entre a carga de treinamento prescrita pelos treinadores e a percebida pelos atletas de diversas modalidades esportivas e alunos do curso de operações especiais pode levar à má adaptação ao programa de treinamento pretendido. No. of bitstreams: 1 Dissertacao - Allan Inoue Rodrigues - 2021 - Completa.pdf: 2293530 bytes, checksum: 71b00443934a2c2b845967f81cbf5eaa (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2021-12-14T14:58:28Z (GMT).
