Resumo: This dissertation for master s degree reflects about the epistemological ways in which geographical science had coming in the History of Geographical Though, seeking the origin of the dichotomy Physical Geography - Human Geography and the possibility of returning to the ontic completeness of our science through environment concept of, such as it is categorized in our times, revaluing the landscape, while operating category, and the systems approach as geographically applicable method. This dissertation also seeks to analyze Hidrogeography epistemologically, while subfield of Geography and Hydrology, in order to elucidate the causes of their theoretical incipience and reaffirm their importance for spatial praxis. Finally , as a contribution to the Epistemology of Hidrogeography, and consequently, to the Epistemology of Geography, will be sistematized an adaptation of geo-historical method of Cross Sections Successive hydrogeographically applied to analyze the landscape, questioning the issue of trans-scalarity between natural and social phenomena in geographical space, and the epistemological validity of transposed methods between human and natural sciences, and comparing aforementioned geo - historical method, historically linked to human Geography, its similar to the historical-anthropogenic geo-systemic approach, linked to Physical Geography

Esta dissertação busca também analisar epistemologicamente a Hidrogeografia, enquanto subcampo da Geografia e da Hidrologia, a fim de elucidar as causas de sua incipiência teórica e de reafirmar sua importância para a práxis espacial.
