Resumo: This thesis aims to study the discursive structure of a specific juridic discourse genre, to analyze how it develops from the point of view of informativeness, an important factor for the construction of textual coherence. For this, it will be used as theoretical reflections, conceptual contributions linguistics textual of Beaugrande & Dressler (1981) and Koch (2004), Marcuschi (2005), Favero (1991) and Bakhtin (1997). In addition, other aspects will be worked out in this research, as the compositional structure about the genre; the roles of enunciator and enunciatee in petitions; and the use of enhancement strategies, using graphic markings, such as bold, letter upper case and underlined text. The proposed analysis leads us to discuss how all these elements are configured as elaborations procedures petitional texts and coherence, from informativeness, and together related to the difficulty understanding of forensic text. The reflection about genre initial petition provides a macro textual design of the genre and discursive detailing, that contributes to the understanding of use in the daily lives of citizens

Para tanto, serão usadas, como aportes teóricos, as contribuições conceituais sobre a Linguística Textual de Beaugrande & Dressler (1981), bem como de Koch (2004), Marcuschi (2005), Fávero (1991) e Bakhtin (1997). Além disso, outros aspectos serão trabalhados nessa pesquisa, como a estrutura composicional do gênero em questão; os papéis do enunciador e o enunciatário nas petições; e a utilização de estratégias de realce, com o uso de marcações gráficas, como o negrito, a letra em caixa alta e o texto sublinhado. A análise proposta leva-nos a discutir de que maneira todos esses elementos são configurados como procedimentos de elaboração do texto peticional e como a coerência, a partir da informatividade, estão juntamente relacionados com a dificuldade de entendimento do texto forense.
