Saúde do(s) trabalhador(es): análise ontológica da "questão" e do "campo"

This thesis was made an ontological analysis of the relationship between the "issue of the health of workers" (or simply "issue") and the "field of the health of worker" (or simply "field"). A reasoned theoretical study in ontomethodological categories proposed by Karl Marx and György Lukács was developed. From the review of both literature and documents addressing the relationship between work and health, particularly in Brazil, relevant information was extracted on the (re)formulation of a theory in the light of the Marxian/ Lukacsian ontological perspective, able to demonstrate the relationship between "issue" and "field" in its multiple determinations. The "issue" was found to have its "original structure" related to the antagonism between capital and labor, reproducing in its interior, the "contradictory" nature of the latter. Thus, the destructive character of capital is expressed also in the health degradation of those who produce it. From the moment the workers face the "issue", a new standard of research and intervention is built on it, highlighting the need for the workers themselves be the protagonists of the process. Thus, the "issue" in its dynamics demand the emergence of the "field", which comes up with acounter-hegemonic proposal in relation to the traditional fields of Occupational Medicine and Occupational Health. Nevertheless, the "field" is part of the social metabolism of the capital, having its construction consigned to the latter. This puts a number of limitations to the full scientific apprehension of the "issue", as well as to the forged interventions in the political-institutional framework, particularly concerning social policies. The conclusion such analytical abstractions provided is an urgent scientific, political rupture with the arenas the "field" gets inserted in its process of legitimation. Only then can those who make up the "field", as well as the ones outside it but who are involved with the "issue", face it in its "essence" thus contributing to face the capital.
