Formação docente, cultura digital e histórias de professores: uma trama com muitos fios

Resumo: The present research is constituted as a continuation to the study started in the Masters, which had focused on investigating the mediating role of digital technologies in the processes of learning and teaching, faced with the socio-technical transformations that permeate society with the strong presence of digital culture. Being school culturally and historically contextualized, it has been experienced those changes and at times teachers have dealt with specific demands that impel them to revise their practices and question many aspects of the prevailing education system. This Doctoral work is to bring thoughts about teacher academic training in this context. To develop this study, I have chosen to distance myself from an instructional training model, questioning the idea of training and bringing teachers to the center stage, exploring their knowledge and experiences. By placing the focus on the subject and considering them in their different dimensions of complex shape, I chose to conduct this research through the stories of teachers and from them get relevant elements to thinking about teacher training strategies that are consistent with the actual demands of the contemporary school. To support my research about this topic, I gathered contributions from studies written by António Nóvoa, Sonia Kramer, Solange Jobim e Souza, Rita Ribes, Maria Teresa Freitas, Adriana Bruno, among other authors. The look over the topic and the relationship established with the subjects were theoretical and methodologically well-founded on the concepts of alterity and dialogism of Mikhail Bakhtin and on the concepts of history, narrative and experience of Walter Benjamin. In addition to these, other authors have contributed to my understanding of the context of contemporary times marked by socio-technical transformations such as Lucia Santaella, Edméa Santos, Maria Helena Bonilla, André Lemos, Pierre Lévy. For this study, were invited to attend seven public and private school teachers of different disciplines working in many sectors of education from Rio de Janeiro. These teachers are considered, by the school community, references in the groundbreaking work with digital technologies. The choice for those characters was made by the procedure of the network of sociability, which consists in finding a subject appointed by someone from your circle, which gives a familiarity to the relationship between researcher and subject. This search of the individual stories of teachers, guided by all those authors who contribute to the construction of my survey, aims to think of ways to make teacher training more consistent with contemporary reality

Diante do entendimento de que a escola, por estar contextualizada cultural e historicamente, também experimenta essas mudanças e, por sua vez, os professores têm lidado com demandas específicas que os impelem a rever suas práticas e a questionar muitos aspectos do sistema de educação predominante, este trabalho de doutorado se propõe a pensar sobre a formação de professores neste contexto. Para desenvolver o estudo, optei por me distanciar de um modelo de formação instrucional, problematizando a ideia de capacitação e trazendo os professores para a posição central a partir da valorização de seus saberes e de suas experiências. Ao colocar o foco nos sujeitos e considera-los em suas diferentes dimensões de forma complexa, optei por realizar essa pesquisa por intermédio das histórias de professores e, a partir delas, buscar elementos relevantes para pensar em estratégias de formação docente que sejam coerentes com as demandas reais da escola contemporânea. Para apoiar meu estudo acerca desse tema, busquei aportes nos estudos de António Nóvoa, Sonia Kramer, Solange Jobim e Souza, Rita Ribes, Maria Teresa Freitas, Adriana Bruno, entre outros autores. O olhar para o tema e a relação estabelecida com os sujeitos foram fundamentados teórico-metodologicamente nos conceitos de alteridade e dialogismo de Mikhail Bakhtin e nos conceitos de história, narrativa e experiência de Walter Benjamin. Além desses, outros autores contribuíram para o meu entendimento do contexto da contemporaneidade marcado pelas transformações sociotécnicas, como Lucia Santaella, Edméa Santos, Maria Helena Bonilla, André Lemos, Pierre Lévy. Para esse estudo, foram convidados a participar sete professores da rede particular e pública do Rio de Janeiro, de diferentes disciplinas e que atuam em diversos segmentos da escolaridade. Esses professores são considerados, pela comunidade escolar em que atuam, referências no trabalho inovador com tecnologias digitais. A escolha dos sujeitos foi feita através do procedimento da rede de sociabilidade, que consiste em encontrar sujeitos a partir da indicação de pessoas conhecidas, o que confere uma familiaridade à relação entre pesquisador e sujeito pesquisado.
