Resumo: | Technological changes have been occurring quickly, among them mobile devices and their applications stand out. This research aimed to investigate the infoculture profile of graduates in Nursing at three private universities located in the region of Vale do Paraíba-SP, as well as the main types of applications used on their mobile devices, the possible contributions to the construction of knowledge during Nursing undergraduate course and the use of educational technologies by the teaching staff. This was exploratory research, and it was carried out in three stages: 1) a survey of the main applications that are being used in the health area, in application libraries, through a search for descriptors: care, assistance, nursing; 2) data collection in private universities in Nursing Undergraduate courses, evaluating the infoculture profile and the applications that are being used by them; 3) Comparison of the two previous steps and data analysis. The method of research had access to virtual stores such as the Play Store and AppStore in order to perform searches for the applications of interest and to collect information about them. A survey was conducted in the main applications used in the health area in application libraries on the Android and iOS operating systems, in the Play Store and AppStore stores, using the keywords “care”, “assistance” and “nursing”, across both platforms. In the second stage some points were evaluated, such as the infoculture profile, the applications that were used and the students' opinions about them, the investigated faculty on the use of the technology in the classroom and the encouragement of the universities collected by sending a form on google forms. The general search resulted in 52 apps, 34 of them were collected from Google Play Store from Google Play® and 18 from Apple's Apple Store. Regarding the practical usage during the curricular internship, approximately 80% of the students confirmed having used some application. The use of applications as a work tool was found in a large part of the responses, 70% by faculty members. According to the students, 70% and 81% answered that there is an encouragement from the University and Professors to access applications and mobile technologies. Users of applications with "care", “assistance” and "nursing" theme mainly seek for technical information and to learn about the topic. This public mostly uses devices with the Android configuration, a system that presented a greater number of applications in the nursing area, a larger number of evaluations and a higher level of user satisfaction, when compared to the iOS. The technologies are increasingly present in universities and in society, serving us as allies on health care and as support tools with the benefit of facilitating learning in an auxiliary way, the usage of applications and mobile devices facilitate and contribute to teaching and learning nursing. |

Submitted by Kalina CB/A (kalikros2@gmail.com) on 2022-02-18T16:48:42Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Dissertação - Jefferson de Souza - 2021 - Completa.pdf: 1806418 bytes, checksum: 79a663444c74ee220830464bc1ad1bf5 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2022-02-18T16:48:42Z (GMT).
