This dissertation focused on the meanings attributed to sexual behaviors called deviant, perverse and paraphilic, based on their unification under the nickname of BDSM abbreviation for bondage, discipline, Domination and submission, and sadomasochism. These behaviors, even if they are no longer considered pathological in the medical literature, according to the APA's determination in the DSM (official classification of psychiatric disorders), are still discursively constructed as pathologies, even by people who are part of such practices, as this study shown. Through an analysis of the categories of speaker and enunciator (Ducrot, 1987), this dissertation exposes an analysis of the apparently external tensions that cross the BDSM scene, considering, in Maingueneau's (2005) sense, that the discourses pass through non-environments localized and, in the sense of Bakhtin (1986), that every statement is responsive and dialogues with what is apparently alien to it. Thus, it exposes how the pathological senses circulate even in the environments in which these sexual practices are authorized
